Posted by Lou. The time is 9.30am here in London UK.
Something you’re proud of in the past few days
Managing to not make a total arse of myself when meeting the King of Musicals who I have loved for two decades:

ZOMG, is ... that ... Michael Ball???
Yes! He was absolutely wonderful and lovely and gave me two kisses.
ZOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVES HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's not very well known here in NZ so my chances of him ever coming here to preform are minimal. Sigh.
So very very jealous of you!!!!
And now I shall go away and play my favourite song of his "Dimming of the Day" from the album This Time It's Personal. *love*
He is a bit of a joke over here due to be known for his old lady pop covers, whereas only knowing his musicals stuff I obviously worship him. So the show I share a work area with offered for me to come down and meet him when he was on their show - one of them took me into the green room so I got a proper situation to be able to chat, and they all thought it was hilarious that I was so excited and stoked!
He told me he'd love to go to New Zealand so there is hope....
I've been to see him every chance I get - him singing Anthem (from Chess) at the Royal Albert Hall in the 2007 BBC Proms is one of the most memorable moments of my life. It was like he was literally going to blow the roof off.
So to have him turn out to be wonderful and warm and lovely was fantastic!
(For some reason my reply came out as gibberish - but hopefully you can pull some sense from it!)
