Day 3: A picture of you and your friends

Melissa has been my best friend for 20 years. Our friendship was stuck up in Mr Booth's class in Standard 3. We are not particularly alike and have varying interests, but we are both "Tuesday's Child", with Melissa's birthday being exactly three weeks before mine.

New Year's Eve

Melissa is an inherently kind person. She is incapable of saying "no" and no matter how much she has got going on, she will always make time for you as well. Plus she will probably offer to pick you up and drop you off as well.

Her nature is understated and modest, despite the fact that she is a talented and resourceful woman who has plenty worth bragging about in her life. She's the perfect person to take along somewhere, as her approach to small talk involves actually being interested in the person and always manages to delve fascinating details out of complete strangers.

There are downsides to my BFF as well: she is not a night owl and as the moon rises, her energy levels slump. She is useless at replying to texts. She also has that annoying ability to look fabulous in pretty much anything, and then tack on a "What, this?? God, it's just something I sewed up the other day!"
